Northern Virginia Weather: Some Sun Expected Wednesday and Thursday
Temperatures should be in the 50s both days, according to the National Weather Service, but rain is expected to return by the weekend.

STERLING, VA — A mid-week break from the clouds, drizzle and fog that have descended upon us of late certainly is better than no break at all, so that's the biggest takeaway in the latest missive regarding this area from the National Weather Service.
Although there's a 30 percent chance of rain the rest of Tuesday until around 1 a.m., skies are expected to begin clearing afterward.
Wednesday is expected to be party sunny with highs in the mid 50s and occasional gusts up to 25 mph, with winds decreasing and lows in the upper 30s that night.
