Pokémon Go: Burke Lake Park About to be Overrun
"Pokémon in the Park" scheduled Aug. 5. Hosted by Springfield Supervisor Pat Heritty.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — If you've becoming increasingly annoyed at the sight of wandering Pokémon Go players staring at their smart phones while aimlessly searching for prey known only to them, you might want to stay away from Burke Lake Park on Aug. 5.
Then again, for those who enjoy the virtual-reality phenomenon, Burke Lake Park will be the place to be.
That's because Supervisor Pat Herrity (R-Springfield) announced Wednesday he'll be hosting the "Pokémon in the Park," from noon-5 p.m., along with officials from the Fairfax County Police Department.
