Public Can Vote For Burke Student In National Competition
Dylan J. Fox of Lake Braddock Secondary School is one five national finalists in a national competition, and he needs votes to win.

BURKE, VA—The public can vote for a Burke student, one five national finalists in the American Bankers Association's national Lights, Camera, Save! competition. Dylan J. Fox, a sophomore at Lake Braddock Secondary School, was the regional winner for his video on promoting financial literacy for teens.
The contest, open to teens ages 13-18, challenged students to submit a 90-second video that encourages teens to use money responsibly. Fox's video, "Money: It's Literally Everything" was selected by a panel of local judges from Burke & Herbert Bank. The winning video featured Dylan performing an original song he composed about wise money management.
Fox is up for $1,000, $2,500 or the grand prize of $5,000, plus a scholarship for an educator from their school to attend the Jump$tart National Educator Conference. Winners will be announced during America Saves Week in February 2018. Burke & Herbert Bank has rewarded him and Lake Braddock Secondary School with gift card prizes on the local level.
