Springfield-Area Vehicle Break-Ins: Suspect Photos Released by Police

Police are hoping someone recognizes suspects in at least a dozen vehicle break-ins that took place in January in Orange Hunt neighborhood.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police detectives are investigating multiple cases of vehicle break-ins during the overnight hours on Tuesday, Jan. 10 in the Orange Hunt area, police announced Thursday. In one of the cases, numerous credit cards were taken from a car in the 7400 block of Tomcris Court. Later that morning, the cards were used at a store in the 11000 block of Lee Highway.

Surveillance video captured images of the suspects (pictured) at the store. The suspects were described as white or Hispanic and around 18 to 22 years old.

  • 8700 block of Whitson Drive
  • 7100 block of Hanks Place
  • 9200 block of Rockefeller Lane
  • 7100 block of Hundsford Lane
  • 8800 block of Skyron Place (2 incidents)
  • 8800 block of Sweet Gum Place (2 incidents)
  • 6900 block of Spelman Drive (2 incidents)
  • 7400 block of Tomcris Court (2 incidents)
