Summer Concert Series Return To Burke Area In 2021
The Fairfax County Park Authority's Summer Entertainment Series will return to various county locations over the summer.

BURKE, VA — There's nothing quite like a warm summer night paired with music and socializing with friends and family. The Fairfax County Park Authority will once again bring back the Summer Entertainment Series in Burke and other locations in 2021.
This summer tradition seeks to build a sense of community with a variety of performances, from classical to bluegrass and other musical genres as well as children’s performances. The summer concert season at park authority venues will kick off on July 7.
In the Burke area, concert series include Springfield Nights and Braddock Nights.

Springfield Nights includes Wednesday night performances as well as Saturday morning performances for children. The events are held in coordination with Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity, supporters of Springfield Nights, Fairfax County Park Authority and the Fairfax County Park Foundation. Wednesday performances will be opened by Fairfax County high school musicians. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic dinner, blankets and lawn chairs, while food, 2 Silos Brewing Co. beer and Peterson’s Ice Cream will be available for purchase.
Braddock Nights is hosted Saturday mornings at Wakefield Park in Annandale and Friday evenings at Royal Lake Park and Rutherford Park in Fairfax. Performances are hosted in partnership with partnership with Braddock District Supervisor James Walkinshaw, supporters of Braddock Nights, Fairfax County Park Authority and the Fairfax County Park Foundation. Performances cover a variety of genres, and attendees are welcome to bring a picnic dinner, blankets and lawn chairs.

Because performances are held outdoors, they may be canceled in the case of inclement weather. Before attending a show, call 703-324-SHOW (7469) for an inclement weather update.
