Walk Like MADD 5K Run Set for Burke Lake Park
The Oct. 29 event is one of 60 throughout the nation that aims to bring increased awareness about the consequences of impaired driving.
FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Burke Lake Park is one of 60 locations nationwide that will host a 5K run Oct. 29 in support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD.
The run is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. and is set to begin at the picnic area.
For the record, the "run" is called Northern Virginia Walk Like MADD.
