BURKE, VA — Lake Braddock High School's football team rolled to a 63-18 season-opening win Friday night against R.E. Lee-Springfield, and ballyhooed tailbacks Lamont Atkins and Ibrahim Mansaray combined for 361 yards and six touchdowns.
All of which brings us to the ever-perplexing question of whether it's a fashion faux pas to wear white after Labor Day.
The Bruins fans, you see, staged a white-out theme for the home encounter against the Lancers — two days before Labor Day.
