Centreville Pastor Delivers Opening Prayer in U.S. House of Representatives

Rev. Eung-Yul David Ryoo, senior pastor of the Korean Central Presbyterian Church in Centreville, was the guest chaplain Wednesday in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ryoo accepted the invitation from Congressman Gerry Connolly and House Chaplain Rev. Patrick Conroy to deliver the prayer at the opening of the day’s congressional session.
Accompanied by Connolly, Ryoo and his wife met Speaker John Boehner and House Chaplain Conroy in the U.S. Capitol and then proceeded to the floor of the House where he was formally introduced to the assembled Members of Congress by Connolly and Boehner before he delivered the opening prayer.
