Chesterbrook Academy Donates to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Campers hosted a lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness for blood cancer patients
Summer campers from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Centreville recently donated nearly $250 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides patients with support services and financial assistance. To raise money for the organization, campers hosted a lemonade stand for fellow campers, families, staff and teachers. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping others in need.
