Crime Map: Police Pursuit, Alcohol Stolen From Business

Police Pursuit: An attempted traffic stop led to a police pursuit after the driver allegedly failed to pull over, according to Fairfax County Police. 

A police officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation on Braddock Road and Newton Patent Drive at 8:20 p.m. July 4, but the driver sped away, police said. The officer was able to locate the vehicle and operator. The 37-year-old Alexandria man was charged with speed to elude, driving on a revoked license, and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Burglary: An employee on the 5100 block of Westfields Boulevard reported on July 9 at 2:20 p.m. that someone entered the business and stole alcohol. There were no signs of forced entry.
