Celebrating a Legacy: Praising God through Music and Dance – The Erin Peterson Fund 4th Annual Gospel Celebration

Rev. Dr. Eugene Robinson, Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Centreville will host a service reflective of Erin Peterson’s priorities, faith, family and education. Donations collected during the program will help to provide educational scholarships and grants for deserving students.

Fund Founders, Grafton and Celeste Peterson began the Gospel Celebration and Erin Peterson Golf Tournament in loving memory of their daughter, Erin Peterson whose life was lost in April 2007 on the Virginia Tech campus during one of the worst college shootings in history.

The Erin Peterson Fund was formed in May 2007 to ensure that Erin’s commitment to achieving excellence through education, helping the victimized, and being true to one’s self, never dies. "Erin accepted no limitations when it came to helping those in need," said Celeste Peterson. The Erin Peterson Fund is 100% donor dependent and our goal is to endow the fund so that Erin’s legacy lives on.

ABOUT THE ERIN PETERSON FOUNDATION: The mission of the Erin Peterson Foundation is to honor a beautiful life and fulfill her dream of an education by providing financial assistance to deserving students who exemplify the qualities that are Erin’s legacy; thirst for knowledge, commitment to excellence and a desire to help those less fortunate.
