Updated: Cyclist Who Died After Collision Identified By Police
Fairfax County Police identified the cyclist who died after an automobile crash Friday as a 64-year-old Centreville man.

CENTREVILLE, VA — A 64-year-old Centreville man died Friday morning after the bicycle he was riding was involved in an automobile crash, according to a Fairfax County Police Department blog post.
Detectives from FCPD's Crash Reconstruction unit determined Raymond Buza was riding his bicycle after 10 a.m., traveling east on Hidden Canyon Road, when a 2017 Hyundai Sonata turned in front of him from Blueridge View Drive. This caused a crash between Buza's bicycle and the car, according to police. Buza was taken to a hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries and a was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene of the crash.

A preliminary investigation determined that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash for the driver, according to police. FCPD is continuing to investigate this case and will present its findings to the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for review.
