German Grocery Store Lidl Coming to Chantilly
The company will build a 30,000 square foot store at Chantilly Crossing Shopping Center at Lee Road and Chantilly Crossing Lane.

CHANTILLY, VA — German discount grocer Lidl has been given the green light by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to build a 30,000 square foot store at Chantilly Crossing Shopping Center.
The zoning approval also allows the company to build an 18,000 square foot retail building next to the store
Besides food, the store also sells clothes, appliances and household goods.

According to the real estate information firm CoStar, the grocer could have up to 150 stores open in the mid-Atlantic region by 2018.
The Lidl company announced more than a year ago it would locate its corporate headquarters in Crystal City and a distribution center in Fredericksburg.
