Ono Brewing Company Grand Opening Saturday In Chantilly

CHANTILLY, VA — Having already been serving its craft brews in quite the unique way for nearly a month, the Ono Brewing Company will hold its all-day public grand opening noon-10 p.m. Saturday at 4520 Daly Drive, Suite 102. There will be a couple of food trucks, outdoor seating and games, special giveaways, brewery tours and, of course, a wide variety of beer.

One of the different aspects of Ono is its tasting room format the replaces the traditional bar and bartenders. Instead, customers use their credit card to start a beer tab and activate an Ono beer card. With that, they can check out eight different beers on tap. Each beer card has an electronic chip that will activate the tap, after which the customer can pour a half glass, a full glass or just a sample. Charges will be applied only to what and how much is drawn from the tap. The brewery has the 30-barrel fermenters with staplesof pale ale, IPA and wheat. There are many variations, including special seasonal offerings.
