The statement also revealed that Aylor has a substantial criminal history in the Juvenile Courts of Prince William County, which includes Robbery and Larceny convictions and several probation violations.

“The Juvenile Court makes every effort to rehabilitate and redirect the behavior of youths who commit crimes,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Jim Plowman.  “However, when these offenders become adults, the Court’s focus takes a drastic shift from rehabilitation to protection of the community.”

Three Freedom High students were robbed on Saturday, Feb. 26 by two men while walking on a path around the high school.  One of the suspects was carrying a knife and demanded cash from the students.

The two men fled the scene in a white SUV, which was stopped soon afterward by police after the students called 911.

The teens were able to identify fellow student, Daquante Harrison Timbers, 18, of Sterling as one of the assailants.  The second suspect is Daylin Drashawn Aylor, 18, of Chantilly.  They were each charged with two counts of robbery.  The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office will be consulted about any additional charges.

The driver of the vehicle was a juvenile who was released to a parent.

Timbers and Aylor were arraigned on Monday, Feb. 28, and are being held without bond at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center.
