Investigators determined that the fire was accidental, and it originated in the chimney chase of a fireplace on the lower level of the house. The fire then spread to the upper level.
Reports now indicate that an adult female was transported to Fair Oaks Hospital with "non life-threatening injuries" after being treated at the scene by paramedics.

Firefighters responded to a fire at 4518 Silas Hutchinson Drive at approximately 7:05 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
A 911 call was placed from inside the home at approximately 6:57 p.m. Battalion Chief Chris Schaff said that upon arrival, units found a fire on the second floor as well as the basement. The fire was declared "under control" at approximately 7:33 p.m.
The residents of the home did not accept assistance from the Red Cross. Schaff said that fire marshalls are on the scene, and the investigation will likely begin within the next hour.
