Two Vienna Police officers were honored for life-saving officers in response to a vehicle crash. The awards result from their actions during an encounter with a driver who had been in a crash and then went into cardiac arrest.

Sen. Warner Honors Black History Month With Tour Of Old Town
U.S. Sen. Mark Warner heard stories of enslaved and freed Black people who worked and lived in the city of Alexandria before the Civil War on a recent walk titled "Freedom's Fight In Alexandria Tour." Alexandria has a deep connection to the institution of slavery as home to one of the largest slave-trading operations in the country in the early 1800s.
Adorable Puppy Interrupts TV Report In NoVA
A puppy named Pierogi interrupted a reporter's newscast in Leesburg. The dog interrupted FOX 5's Bob Barnard during a live shot on Friday, according to FOX 5 DC.
Clinton, Bush Hager Among New Investors In Washington Spirit
The Washington Spirit professional women's soccer team announced a new group of investors, including former first daughters Chelsea Clinton and Jenna Bush Hager.
Herndon Graduate Student Continues Treatment To Combat Cancer
Chelsea Proctor, the Herndon resident diagnosed last year with a rare and painful form of cancer, is continuing chemotherapy treatment. To offset the expenses, the Proctor family launched a GoFundMe campaign in October to raise money.
