Wegmans To Open New Store in Chantilly: Report
The premium grocery outlet will anchor a shopping center being built on Route 28 south of Route 50, due to open next year.

CHANTILLY, VA — A new Wegmans grocery store, the third in Fairfax County, is scheduled to open its doors as part of a shopping center being built in Chantilly, according to a media report.
The premium grocery store will anchor The Field at Commonwealth, a $45 million shopping center at the intersection of Route 28 and Westfields Boulevard, south of Route 50, radio station WTOP reported Tuesday.
The Field at Commonwealth, with nearly 187,000 square feet, is being built by Regency Centers Corp., a development firm based in Jacksonville, FL. Up to 12 stores will open their doors in the shopping center.
