'American Grilled' Host to Throw Watch Party in Arlington
David Guas, host of Travel Channel's new show, will throw a New Orleans-themed grill out and watch party next Wednesday at his restaurant.

Arlington chef David Guas will be throwing a New Orleans-themed grill out and viewing party next Wednesday (Aug. 13) at his Courthouse restaurant, Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery, 1515 N. Courthouse Road in Arlington.
Guas will be grilling out for guests on the patio before his New Orleans episode of “American Grilled” on Travel Channel. ”American Grilled” debuted last month and Guas serves as host and co-judge on the show.

As a NOLA native, this episode is especially significant and the “grill out” is his way of sharing the occasion and some of his hometown grilled favorites with all who’d like to attend. Each grilled sip (yes, sip) and bite served is inspired by local ingredients that will be used in the episode that night.
It’s your chance to see Guas at the helm of the grill and watch the episode with him and enjoy some of his NOLA faves. Here’s a sampling of what you can expect on the special menu:
