Arlington Public Schools in Need of Teachers for 2014
County sees increased enrollment, has openings for 25 teachers.

UPDATE: The following is an update from Arlington Public Schools, on the number of teachers the school system needs before school begins; the memorandum is from Betty Hobbs, Arlington Public Schools Assistant Superintendent:
“On August 7, 2014, the Superintendent provided an update to the Board and community on staffing at that time. It was forecasted that there would be approximately 300 new teachers with 225 teachers having been hired.
As we know, Arlington continues to be challenged by increasing student enrollment. Therefore, many teaching positions have been added recently given that staffing is reviewed on a daily basis.
