Beloved DC Bar 'The Board Room' Expands To Clarendon

The Board Room is set to move into the former Sehkraft Brewery space on North Garfield Street.

CLARENDON, VA — A beloved DC bar featuring board games, draft lines and a rotating list of wines is making its way to Clarendon, Arlington Now reports. The Board Room looks set to move in to the former home of Sehkraft Brewery, which closed in January, at 925 N. Garfield St.

The first-floor retail space is located in the Garfield Park apartment complex. The Garfield Park property manager Christin D'Amato emailed residents letting them know of the shift in business.

In the email, D'Amato said The Board Room will serve 21 draft lines and offer more than 50 different board games for customers to enjoy. The bar will feature various private party spaces, and will offer a full menu with happy hour specials.

The Board Room will also partner with a local brewer to keep the microbrewery operating.

The Dupont Circle-based bar has a game closet filled to the brim with games from every era. It costs $2 to rent a game.
