Fight Over Alcohol Sales Leads To Arrest Of Fairfax Man: Report
Arlington County Police say that a Fairfax man fought with the employee of a Virginia Square business who refused to sell him alcohol.

VIRGINIA SQUARE, VA — A fight over the late-night sale of alcohol at a Virginia Square business early Wednesday morning led to Arlington County Police arresting a Fairfax man, according to the daily crime report.
Officers responded around 1:09 a.m. to the report of a fight in progress at a business in the 3500 block of Fairfax Drive. When the officers arrived, they learned that 26-year-old Fabian Mungal of Fairfax had entered the business and began selecting merchandise. The victim refused to ring up the merchandise, informing Mungal of the restrictions on the sales of alcohol during the overnight hours. They began to argue and a physical altercation ensued. The victim was able to retrieve the sales items and Mungal left the business. However, he returned a short time later and tried to gather additional restricted merchandise. A second fight broke out and a witness intervened. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police took Mungal into custody and charged him with robbery and being drunk in public. During the investigation, ACPD learned that Mungal was wanted in Fairfax County. Police served him with the outstanding warrant.
