Get Out: Antiques, The Beatles and a Thai Festival

The weekend is only one day away. Here are a few ideas to kick-start it.

When/Where: The festival will take place from noon until 6 p.m. at Grace Church (1041 Wisconsin Avenue, NW) across from the Royal Thai Embassy. 

Why Go: Enjoy authentic Thai cuisine from more than 10 local restaurants and cultural activities including Muay Thai (Thai boxing), music and dances by local Thai artists.

When/Where: The exhibit runs June 22 through 24 at the Washington Harbour complex (3000 K St. NW). The venue is at the base of 31st Street NW overlooking the Potomac River on the Boardwalk/Plaza level. Friday's event includes a wine and cheese reception from 5 to 8 p.m. open to the public. The exhibit is open to the public Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.

Why Go: Explore art works — including large scale paintings, sculpture and ceramics — from more than 30 local artists. Hosts Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's CBRB Cares Foundation will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these works to .

Pricing: Free to attend.

When/Where: The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Sunday at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, 3501 2nd St. S, Arlington.

Why Go: Calling all Antiques Roadshow fanatics! "Over 100 dealers of Quality Antiques featuring American, English and continental furniture, art, silver, porcelain, pottery, posters, jewelry, rugs Russian artifacts, barometers, prints, manuscripts and objects d'art" will be featured at this 25th annual event. The show will also include a glass repair workshop and an appraisal workshop.

Pricing: Tickets are $8 per person to attend the show.

When/Where: The market will be open at 8 a.m. in the parking lot at the intersection of 14th St. N & N. Courthouse Road.

Why Go: Summer is in full swing and there's no better time to stock up on local fruits and veggies.

Pricing: Free to attend. Vendor prices vary.

5. RAIN - A Tribute to the Beatles at Wolf Trap

When/Where: Shows start at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights at Wolf Trap, 1645 Trap Road, Vienna.

Why Go: According to the Wolf Trap website, "From Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road, travel back in time with this acclaimed multimedia spectacle to relive your favorite Beatles moments."

Pricing: Tickets range in price from $25 to $42.
