Why Go: In the market for this summer's beach books? According to this event listing, the Friends of Palisades Library is having a "huge" used book sale: "We have over 10,000 books for sale. Most books are $1 each. On Saturday we will have a bag sale of books for $10 per bag. Children's books are 50 cents to $1. There will also be a room of 'bargain' books selling for 25 cents each, or by the bag for $3 per bag, both Friday and Saturday."
