Heartbreak for the Redskins: Should RG3 Have Played?

Redskins lose to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday. The Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens continue in the playoffs.

Update 7:35 p.m.: You could hear a collective moan come from Redskins fans at Fed Ex Field in Landover, Md. It spread across Washington and into Virginia as they realized the Redskins' season—and that of rookie Quarterback Robert Griffin III's season—is officially over.

The Washington Redskins lost to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday evening. The final score was Redskins 14, Seahawks 24.

The loss comes after Griffin's painful-looking injury in the fourth quarter, prompting Redskins fans on Twitter and in living rooms across the region to ponder whether putting him in the game was the right choice. What do you think? Tell us in the comments.

The Redskins were entering the game knowing that with a victory over the Seattle Seahawks, they’ll play the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome in the next found of the NFL playoffs. A victory there would pit them against either Green Bay or the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
