IHOP To Give Away Free Pancakes Tuesday

The promotion is part of National Pancake Day.

IHOP will be giving away one free short stack of pancakes per visitor on National Pancake Day, which is Tuesday.

Donations from customers in Arlington will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Capital Area Chapter, which works to find cures to leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. Patrons are encouraged to make a donation to the organization in lieu of paying for their pancakes.

Area IHOPs have set a goal of raising $220,000 for the society’s mission. Restaurants in the Washington area also have been selling “beat cancer” icons, which have suggested donations of $1, $5 or $20.
