Local Company Launches "Stay Cool Challenge" to Help Residents Beat the Heat

Now that August is in full swing, we’re officially in the heat of the summer. The D.C. area has been experiencing a major heat wave the last few weeks and temps are continuing to rise. Everyone is looking for ways to beat the heat!

While it’s easy for some to just turn up the air conditioner, there are plenty of other creative ways to cool down.

Local home improvement company, Michael & Son, has launched the Stay Cool Challenge to see how people across the region are staying cool.

Send in a picture of how you're staying cool this summer for a chance to win a Coolest Cooler full of surprises worth $2,500. Whether you snap a pic of yourself taking a dip in the pool, running through sprinklers, or covering yourself with icy towels, Michael & Son team members want to see how you're cooling down this August.
