Maternal Mortality rates continue to increase

This article came across my desk today.  It's something that all pregnant women should be aware of.  Make sure that you are asking the right questions and that the care you are getting is research-based as opposed to the way "it's always been done."

"A woman in the U.S. is just as likely to suffer a maternal death as a woman in Iran and four times more likely than a woman in Germany."
