Robbery By Force Suspect Wanted By Arlington Police
Arlington County Police released surveillance photos of a man wanted in connection with a robbery by force in the Courthouse area.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery by force that occurred on Jan. 20 in the Courthouse area, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 7:16 p.m., on Jan. 20, for the report of a robbery by force in the 1200 block of North Troy Street. Upon arrival, they learned the victim was followed off a bus by a man. As the victim tried to enter her residence, the man grabbed her purse strap. A struggled followed, in which the man pulled the victim to the ground and dragged her down a flight of stairs. Stealing the purse, the man fled on foot. Police report the victim suffered minor injuries.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 155 pound. He had curly hair and was wearing dark pants, a black and white striped jacket with the hood up. At the time of the incident, he was carrying a dark backpack and a red duffle bag.

ACPD released surveillance photos of the suspect.
