Sexual Battery Incident Under Investigation In Courthouse Area

COURTHOUSE, VA — Arlington County Police received a voicemail on the Telephone Reporting Unit line in connection with a sexual battery incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the Courthouse area, according to the daily police report.

The victim told police that around 1 p.m., on Tuesday, she was walking in the 2100 block of Wilson Boulevard when an unknown man, who was walking in the opposite direction, slapped her on the buttocks with his open hand as he passed. She said he then fled the area on foot.

Police described the suspect as a Black man in his mid to late 20s. He stood 6-foot to 6-foot 2 tall and weighed between 165-170 pounds with black hair. Police say he was wearing a dark colored baseball cap, black tank top, and dark colored shorts. This remains an ongoing investigation.
