Sexual Battery, Indecent Exposure Incidents Under Investigation

Arlington County Police charged one man for indecent exposure and are searching for another in connection with a sexual battery incident.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for a suspect in a sexual battery incident that occurred Monday afternoon in Clarendon, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 3:19 p.m., for the report of a sexual battery in the 2100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. A juvenile victim told police that around 2:45 p.m., an unknown man touched her buttocks as he passed her.

Police described the suspect as a Black man dressed all in black. He was wearing long pants and a long-sleeved shirt with a short-sleeved shirt over it. He was also carrying a black backpack. This remains an open investigation.

Police were also dispatched around 11:04 p.m., to the High View area for the report of an exposure. The victim told police she was waking in the area of N. Cameron Street at 22nd Street N, when she heard a man behind her. Turning to look at him, she noticed his genitals were exposed and he tried to engage her.

After searching the area, police took a man they say matched the description of the suspect into custody without incident.

Police charged Tahmeen Street, 25, of no fixed address with indecent exposure and public masturbation.
