Thefts From Vehicles In North Rosslyn Under Investigation
Arlington County Police are investigating a pair of thefts from vehicles parked in the North Rosslyn area.

ROSSLYN, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a pair of vehicle tamperings and thefts in the North Rosslyn area early Saturday morning, according to the daily crime report.
Officers were dispatched around 3:52 a.m., to the 2100 block of N. Courthouse Road, for the report of tampering with a vehicle. The victim told police he was alerted to movement in the area of his driveway and saw a man enter his unlocked vehicle and tamper with items. The victim told the suspect to leave and the man complied, fleeing the area on foot.
During their investigation, police determined that between 3:34 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., the same man was seen entering another vehicle in the 2100 block of 21st Road and stealing items of value.

ACPD described the suspect as a Black man in his mid-30s, with a beard and dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and green sneakers.
This case remains under investigation.
