Traffic Alert: Crystal City Streets To Be Closed

Runners in the Crystal Run 5K will compete this evening, say police.

ARLINGTON, VA - The Arlington County police will close several streets in Crystal City this evening to make way for runners competing in a 5K race.

The police announced they will close the following streets for the Crystal Run 5K from about 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

  • The northbound lanes of Crystal Drive from 26th Street, near Reagan National Airport, up to 12th Street (the southbound lanes will be open during the race).
  • The north and southbound lanes of Long Bridge Drive as well as all traffic around 6th, 10th and South Ball streets.

In addition to the closures, street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs.
