Will Crumbs Bake Shop Return to Northern Virginia?

Crumbs will reopen in 25 locations nationwide. No word yet on whether that will include Tysons and Clarendon stores.

A popular bakery, Crumbs Bake Shop, may be making a comeback soon in the area, according to some media reports including Washington Journal. Its former Northern Virginia locations included bakeries in the Tysons and Clarendon neighborhoods.

In July, businessman and TV personality Marcus Lemonis and Fischer Enterprises stepped in to take ownership of Crumbs and save the business from closing its doors, as well as to expand its product offerings beyond traditional cupcake goods. Lemonis is host of the CNBC reality show “The Profit” which returns to the airwaves tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 14) with all new episodes.

On the company Web site, it mentions the company will soon open a store at Union Station in DC. The store had also doled out its wares at a Tysons Corner and Clarendon location. Patch will keep an eye out for news of those possible openings as well.
