Woman Assaulted During Massage

Arlington County Police are investigating a sexual assault at an Arlington salon on Sunday afternoon.

The female victim reported she was assaulted during a massage between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The salon is located on the 3000 block of South Columbia Pike.

According to the police report, the victim described the masseuse "as a Hispanic male, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6’4” and 200 lbs. He had black curly hair in a pony tail and stated his name was Juan."

Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said the woman did not report the assault immediately. The report was filed after the salon was closed for business on Sunday.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sternbeck did not know if the Special Victims Unit had apprehended the suspect yet.
