16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt Set at Lee-Fendall House

Six hunts are scheduled over April 2-5; one is already sold out. Tickets on sale now.

The Lee-Fendall House, at 614 Oronoco St., welcomes visitors this year to their 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, returning to Alexandria on Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5.

The Easter Bunny will fill the garden with hundreds of colorful toy-filled Easter eggs for the hunt. Other activities include:

  • Games
  • Crafts to take home
  • Refreshments
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny
  • Every participating child will receive an Easter Egg

All children of elementary school age or younger (children ages infant-12) are eligible to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. Older children and adults are welcome to enjoy all other activities.

The 2015 Easter Egg Hunt schedule:

  • Friday, April 3: 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 4: 10:30 a.m. (sold out); 12:30 p.m.; 2:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 5: 12:30 p.m.; 2:30 p.m.

  • Children (ages infant-12): $12 general public/ $10 Friends of Lee-Fendall House
  • Adults (ages 13+): $5 general public/ FREE Friends of Lee-Fendall House (Family Membership and above)
  • Friends of the Lee-Fendall House should make reservations by calling (703) 548-1789. To become a Member, Click Here.
  • Limit of 4 adult tickets (ages 13+) per child participating in the Easter Egg Hunt. Physical tickets will not be mailed; purchasers will be placed on a reservation list and checked off at the start of the event.
  • Purchase tickets online here (and read up on how the online process works on the Web site).

The museum notes that in the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for April 24-26.

Important note: Easter Egg Hunt participants should bring their own Easter egg baskets.
