Alexandria Fire Crews Respond to Small Fire at The Aspen

A small kitchen fire in The Aspen apartment building in the 3200 block of Landover Street Saturday night drew a large response from Alexandria fire crews.

According to a fire department spokesperson, the fire was reported out before crews arrived at the scene just before 7 p.m.

There were no injuries in the incident. The 16th floor of the building had to be ventilated.

Fire marshals remained on the scene Saturday night to investigate the scene.
