A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family of Lucas for funeral and other costs. He is remembered as a loving relative and friend as well as an athlete who played football and basketball at T.C. Williams.
"On the night of August 4th, the world lost a beloved classmate, teammate, friend, nephew, and son," reads a GoFundMe page created by a former teammate. "Montrell was a varsity athlete for both football and basketball, and always worked to make himself the best he could be. If you were blessed with the gift of knowing him, then you were fortunate enough to know just how funny he was."
