Alexandria Primary 2021: Sample Ballots Ready Before Early Voting
Sample ballots include races for mayor, City Council, governor, House of Delegates and more.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — As early voting approaches for Alexandria's 2021 primary elections, sample ballots have been released.
The Democratic primary election scheduled for June 8, 2021 includes races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, House of Delegates, Alexandria mayor and Alexandria City Council. Depending on the area of the city, voters may have a ballot for the 45th House District or 46th House District.

The sample ballots were released ahead of early voting. Absentee ballots requested by voters will be mailed starting on April 23, and in-person absentee voting will begin on April 23. Absentee ballots may be requested through May 28.
Voters must register to vote or update their information by May 17 to vote in the primary election. Eligible U.S. citizens who will be 18 years old by the next general election (Nov. 2) are eligible to register.
