Set in Scotland, "Brave" tells the story of Merida, a princess skilled in archery and horseback riding. After her mother tells Merida that her passions are not suited for a princess and that she must marry, the tomboy royal rides off. She persuades a witch to change her mom. The results are far from what Merida expected, and she sets out to make things right.

The film features the voice talents of Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters and Craig Ferguson.

Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers wrote that while not up with some of Pixar’s best flicks, “Brave” is “a rousing, gorgeously animated good time.”

The PG-rated film runs just over 90 minutes. “Brave” won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film for 2012 and raked in more than $550 million at the box office.
