Del Ray Citizens Association Eyes February Chili Cook-off
Citizens association looking for help to organize new event.
The Del Ray Citizens Association has decided to sponsor a chili cook-off this year instead of hosting its annual New Year’s Day potluck at Fire Station 202 on E. Windsor Avenue.
The tentative schedule for the cook-off is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at the historic firehouse, which served at the primary meeting place for the town of Potomac.
The DRCA has never organized a cook-off before and is looking for anyone with ideas on how to get the event organized.
