Del Ray House And Garden Tour To Benefit Gateway Project
A dozen Del Ray homes will be open for the tour.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The Del Ray House & Garden Tour returns this year with a dozen featured homes on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Del Ray Gateway Project, which will add a splash park and Nancy Dunning Memorial Garden at Mount Vernon and Commonwealth Avenues.
The 12 homes on this year’s tour range from renovated row houses to new constructions. Some of the highlights are a renovated old farmhouse, an open concept home with an impressive art collection, and a 1917 home originally bought for $1,396.50. The tour is walkable and will happen rain or shine.
The tour starts at Nectar Del Ray (106 Hume Ave), where you can pick up tour brochures and wristbands to allow you to enter the featured homes. Large bags, strollers and dogs are not permitted.

Tickets are $30. Del Ray Citizens Association members can purchase discounted tickets at the May 9 meeting at 7 p.m., held at Del Ray United Methodist Church, 100 East Windsor Avenue.
Held by the Del Ray Citizens Association, the tours take place on even numbered years. The last tour happened in 2016. See more information about the tour here.
