eye2eye Optometry Celebrates 5 Years

Frame shop and optometry practice hosting open house Thursday afternoon.

eye2eye Optometry Corner is celebrating its five-year anniversary in Del Ray Thursday, Oct. 3, with an open house from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the shop, located at 1502 Mount Vernon Ave.

Refreshments will be served and goodie bags will be available at the event, which is open to the public.

Dr. Dora Adamopoulos opened her practice and frame shop in Del Ray in 2008, and it has grown each year.

While eye2eye staff couldn’t track a number on how many frames they’ve sold in five years, they did say deep purple and turquoise have proven to be the most popular frame colors for women, while men tend to pick up black and turquoise frames the most.  

One customer did purchase 10 frames in one visit. Her reason? To match her many shoes.
