The monthly event benefits a different local cause each month. July's event will benefit New Hope Housing, which provides shelter and programs to help homeless individuals and families in Northern Virginia. First Thursday attendees are encouraged to bring new single or queen size sheets, new towel sets, new pillows, cleaning supplies, or grocery gift cards for New Hope Housing's Veterans House, which is located in Del Ray.
