Get a Light for Your Bike Thursday at Braddock Metro

The Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is partnering with the city and Del Ray’s VeloCity Bicycle Cooperative for a Lights for Bikes event at Braddock Road Metro station Thursday, Oct. 24.

Between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. outside the station, lights will be provided and installed on bicycles in an effort to ensure cyclists are safely visible to motorists and others as the end of daylight saving time approaches.

Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
