Holiday House Decorating Contest Open For Nominations In Del Ray

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Residents and businesses are invited to join the Del Ray Citizens Association's 2020 Holiday House Decorating Contest.

Homes and businesses can be entered online with their address, and there's also an option to nominate a neighbor. The categories are Best Home Display: Outdoor (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), Best Home Display: Indoor and Best Business Display.

Nominations are open through 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 14. Judges will visit homes and businesses between Dec. 15 and 20. The judges include Del Ray resident Renée Adams, the young entrepreneurs behind The Poop Brothers, and Councilman John T. Chapman. Winners will be announced in the following week.

Due to COVID-19, judges will not enter homes to view indoor displays. A high resolution photo of indoor displays should be emailed to drca_activities_director@delraycitizen.net by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 14.
