How To Schedule A Vaccine In Alexandria In Phase 2
Residents can preregister or use VaccineFinder to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the City of Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A week after remaining areas of Virginia made everyone 16 and older eligible to be vaccinated for COVID-19, nearly 6 million doses of the vaccine have been administered across the state.
In Alexandria, residents can now book appointments directly with the health department and its partners at www.alexandriava.gov/Vaccines. Other options can be found at vaccinefinder.org.
Alexandria residents 16 and older may choose from a variety of appointment times and clinics offering the vaccine. Those with internet or language barriers can contact the Alexandria COVID-19 Hotline at 703-746-4988 on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for assistance.

This week, Alexandria will receive 12,650 first and second doses to be administered by the health department and its partners. Separate allocations go to the federally qualified health center Neighborhood Health and pharmacies in the federal pharmacy program.

Vaccine Data
As of Sunday, 42 percent of Alexandria residents 16 and older have at least one dose (55,998 people), and 30.7 percent of residents 16 and older are fully vaccinated (40,899 people). The target goal is vaccinating 80 percent of residents 16 and up, or 106,618.
The 30s age group in Alexandria has 8,148 fully vaccinated residents, which is more than any of other age group. However, the 70s age group has the highest vaccination rate with 69,988 per 100,000 people fully vaccinated.
VDH also reports race and ethnicity data, but missing data continues to be a concern. In Alexandria, race and ethnicity is missing for 19,206 fully vaccinated people.
