Latest DC, NoVA Snowfall Totals For Monday, Jan. 14

The National Weather Service has updated snowfall measurements for the winter storm. Some areas got over 10 inches.

WASHINGTON, DC — Snow fell for much of the Jan. 12-13 weekend in DC and Northern Virginia. Early reports show some areas received just shy of a foot of snow.

It appears Leesburg has the highest snowfall, with 11.4 inches reported as of early Monday, according to the National Weather Service. In addition, Washington, D.C, Arlington, McLean, Vienna, Ashburn, Chantilly and Herndon all registered above 10 inches, while 9-inch amounts were recorded in Fairfax City, Reston, Franconia and Bailey's Crossroads.

The following snowfall totals are preliminary data submitted to the National Weather Service as of 2:14 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14. Measurements are recorded by trained spotters or NWS employees.
