The site will start taking patients for the COVID-19 vaccine on March 29, according to a newsletter from Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay.
It is only available to residents preregistered with the Alexandria Health Department or Fairfax County Health Department who receive an invitation to schedule their vaccine appointment.

"While the center is technically in the City of Alexandria, it is serving Fairfax County residents and will be particularly helpful to those in South County," McKay wrote.
Alexandria residents should preregister through the state registration system at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Fairfax County residents should continue to use the local health department's form.
