Phase One Reopening: Status Of Del Ray Restaurants
A few restaurants are opening patios for service with restrictions. Indoor dining is not allowed under Virginia's phase one guidelines.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — As phase one reopening begins for Alexandria and the Northern Virginia region on Friday, May 29, restaurants can operate with limited outdoor dining. Indoor dining remains closed, but takeout and delivery is allowed. Some Del Ray restaurants are open for outdoor dining, while
State guidelines allow outdoor dining with restrictions, including 50 percent capacity and six feet of spacing between parties at tables. In preparation for phase one, Alexandria City Council approved a temporary outdoor dining program on Tuesday. Restaurants can use existing patios or apply for expanded space on restaurant property and in the public right-of-way such as sidewalks, parking spaces and parking lots.
